How can I see Sunrise Point?

We would love to show you the property and all it has to offer! Tours are by appointment only, so click here or call/text 903-904-7500 to request a date and time. The site is generally available for tours Sunday through Friday, unless there is a scheduled event. 

Do you have pricing packages?

One size doesn’t fit all when it comes to events. We customize your event according to your needs and budget. Please contact us to discuss your plans and budget range with our experienced event planners. See the options available at Sunrise Point by calling/texting 903-904-7500 to schedule a personal tour of the grounds.

What is required to reserve my event date?

A 50% deposit will hold the venue for the date of your event. A separate security deposit is required in addition to your event deposit. You are responsible for your group and your vendors removing all items from the property at the end of your event. The security deposit will be returned as long as there is no property damage from your event or your vendors.

What happens if it rains the day of my event?

If rain is in the forecast, contact us 7-14 days ahead of the event date and we will reserve an enclosed tent (or tents) for you for a rental fee. 

Am I required to use certain vendors?

You may choose your vendors, but they must be certified, insured and approved by Sunrise Point before the event. We do have a list of preferred caterers that we are happy to share, if you like.

Does Sunrise Point provide alcohol or can I bring my own?

We allow you to bring your own alcohol, as we do not provide any. You will also need to purchase a temporary liability insurance policy. We will arrange for TABC-certified bartenders for your event.

Where can overnight guests stay in the area?

We have a list of many VRBO lake home rentals close by. There are also several hotels just 15 minutes away in nearby Athens.

Am I able to have a wedding rehearsal at Sunrise Point?

Yes! You may book the venue for the night before your ceremony (as long as it is available). There is no fee for a 1-hour rehearsal. No alcohol is permitted at ceremony rehearsals.

Can I hold my rehearsal dinner at Sunrise Point?

Absolutely. For a rehearsal dinner the night before your event, we can accommodate up to 35 people indoors. An outdoor dinner under the stars can be arranged for 10 people or more. We have a small kitchen on-site available to licensed caterers, as well as an outdoor barbeque grill and a large Weber™ meat smoker. Our event coordinators are happy to assist you with the details.

Can your wedding coordinators help me with additional events at other venues, like an engagement party, bridal shower, or rehearsal dinner?

Yes! Working with one coordinator who understands your wedding vision takes the pressure off you and makes the planning of all your events seamless. Our staff is fully insured to design or manage events at other properties. If you’re not familiar with the Cedar Creek Lake area (or even if you are), it may be challenging to plan those other special parts of your wedding celebration. We know the area and local vendors. Let us take care of those details for you at the venues of your choice for a coordinator fee.
