The owners’ are warm and thoughtful hosts, supplying everything from blankets to microwavable popcorn. We enjoyed the artwork in our bungalow but the focal piece of the space is the floor-to-ceiling window. We felt like we were sitting among the deer and songbirds on the property as we sat in our beds. This is a delightful option for those hoping to relax and reconnect, we’re thankful we found it.”

We traveled 90 minutes south east of Dallas to discover a true gem! Our long weekend away was filled with rest, relaxation and reconnections. Sunrise Point is comprised of four modern cottages which are very carefully designed to meet your needs while away from home. The floor to ceiling windows provide unobstructed views of Cedar Creek Lake. The local animals (birds, deer, raccoons, squirrels) were a marvelous change from the rustle and bustle of city life. Ann was a great hostess and super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back, I loved my time. PS There is an EV charger on property!!!

This was such a remarkable visit. My wife and I love to travel, and we never thought one of our favorite places would be in our home state of Texas. Everything was perfect. The owners put in a lot of work to make their guests feel welcomed and relaxed during their visit. It was very clean and every little detail of this airbnb was well-thought of. The other guests were respectful and nice, and we ended up making some life-long friends. Our stay was so phenomenal that we would love to make this our yearly get-away.

The owners were on-site, but we only saw them when we needed the hot tub turned on. She showed us how to use it, then made us one of the best margaritas we’ve ever had.
