Add in the native oak trees and a sculpture garden, and you’ve got a backdrop that looks like it’s straight out of a magazine.

Wedding Party Accommodations

Your big day deserves a seamless experience, and that includes where your wedding party stays. Our Under the Stars outdoor wedding venue package comes with four contemporary 5-star cottages, included exclusively for your wedding weekend. Each cottage is designed to accommodate two adults—perfect for the bride and groom, parents, grandparents, or members of your wedding party.

Located just a short walk down the driveway from the ceremony site, these cottages keep everyone close to the action. No shuttles or long drives—just step outside and you’re there, ready to celebrate.

As part of your package, cottage guests will also enjoy private access to the property amenities, including the pool, jacuzzi, pickleball court, and fire pit, from 4 PM on Friday until checkout at 11 AM on Sunday. It’s the perfect way to ensure your wedding weekend is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for the people who matter most.

Finding the perfect wedding venue is all about location, and Sunrise Point at Cedar Creek Lake delivers. Nestled on Cedar Creek Lake in Malakoff, TX, our outdoor wedding venueis an easy drive for your guests—whether they’re coming from nearby or out of town.

  • From Dallas/Fort Worth: We’re just about 60 minutes southeast of Dallas and within easy reach of DFW Airport.
  • From Tyler: Only a quick 30-minute drive.
  • From Houston or Austin: A manageable trip for your out-of-town guests who are ready to celebrate with you.

If your guests need accommodations beyond the cottages included in your wedding package, there are plenty of hotel and home-sharing options within a 30-minute drive. It’s all about making the logistics as easy as possible for everyone so you can focus on what really matters—celebrating your love.

  1. Call us to SCHEDULE A TOUR. Everyone is welcome to come along. Walk the property and ask all your questions.
  2. Decide if Sunrise Point at Cedar Creek Lake is the canvas and backdrop you’ve dreamed of. If so, we’ll provide a customized proposal. Return the signed agreement with a deposit within 14 days and secure your date.
  3. We’ll work with you and your wedding coordinator or planner to answer questions, set schedules, and confirm our team’s responsibilities.
