Frequently Asked Questions

How can I see Sunrise Point at Cedar Creek Lake?

We would love to show you the property and all it has to offer! Tours are by appointment only, so request a tour or call/text 903-904-7500 to request a date and time. The site is generally available for tours Sunday through Friday, unless there is a scheduled event.

Can I bring my own watercraft?

Absolutely! Guests can bring their own watercraft and launch at the public Caney City boat ramp or pay a small fee at Fisherman’s Wharf closer to SRP. Check out our Things to Do page for watercraft rentals!

Is there a kitchen in the cottage?

You came to relax, not cook! But we understand you must eat! Each cottage has its own kitchenette with a microwave, Sub Zero mini-fridge, Keurig, and supplies. You’ll have your own grill to prepare your meals! Don’t feel like cooking while you are here? Check out local restaurants on our Things to Do page!

Can I rent all four cottages at once?

The more, the merrier! Securing all four cottages is great for couples' getaways, family reunions, company retreats, overflow, etc.! When reserved, you can select each cottage individually or click “The Whole Nest”!

Are retreats allowed?

We love retreats! All four cottages are required to be reserved for a retreat. Just contact us before you secure the cottages to ensure everything is the right fit!

When is the best time to visit Cedar Creek Lake?

The correct answer is ANYTIME, but we know we are a little biased. May through the beginning of October is the best time to spend time on the water for swimming, jet skiing, etc. Our off-season months, November through April, are best for couples or individuals looking to get away for more personal reasons, i.e.: a relaxing break, a couple’s getaway to reconnect, visiting family, etc. There are many events in our off-season and tons of things to do on Cedar Creek Lake that also brings guests to SRP.
