The owners were so kind and attentive, providing us with a bottle of wine in the cottage and margaritas at the hot tub! We were constantly surrounded by friendly wildlife like deer and owls, and we had such a perfect Thanksgiving getaway. For cooking, we enjoyed the grill and roasting marshmallows in the firepit. “This place is a little slice of heaven – every detail has been considered to make your stay here feel wonderful! We only were at the Goldfinch for one night but we felt like we got to experience the best of everything while there. The sunset over the lake was gorgeous and we were treated to a rainbow and enjoyed all sorts of birds and deer on the property.
