Cedar Creek Lake residents love their lake. You’ll enjoy that same view while playing pickleball! The court is only 8′ from the lake!

Our outdoor pickleball court is for cottage guests only. Full occupancy for four cottages is 8 adults. Invite your pickleball friends to book a cottage and have fun together. Play pickleball all day every day. Book a weekday and have no problems with weddings since they are pre-booked on the weekend.

If you always dreamed of playing pickleball to your hearts’ content…. simply walk from your private cottage patio across the driveway.

In between games, choose to float in the saltwater pool or chill in our huge jacuzzi. Relax on a chaise lounge poolside or on one of the multiple decks. Take in the sunrise and sunset over the lake. From the moment I drove past the Sunrise Point sign and saw the beautiful lake views I felt immediately relaxed and knew I was in for two wonderful and relaxing days! The Bluebird cottage was everything I had hoped for and so much more. There were breathtaking views of the lake and trees from inside thanks to the floor to ceiling windows, and from the back patio I had a front row seat for two spectacular sunsets.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and the amenities were first class. The owners were so kind and attentive, providing us with a bottle of wine in the cottage and margaritas at the hot tub! We traveled 90 minutes south east of Dallas to discover a true gem! Our long weekend away was filled with rest, relaxation and reconnections. Sunrise Point is comprised of four modern cottages which are very carefully designed to meet your needs while away from home. The floor to ceiling windows provide unobstructed views of Cedar Creek Lake. The local animals (birds, deer, raccoons, squirrels) were a marvelous change from the rustle and bustle of city life. Ann was a great hostess and super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back, I loved my time. PS There is an EV charger on property!!!

Our high expectations were surpassed by our stay at Sunrise Point. The location on the lake is primo, and the loving development of the peninsula by Annie and Sue reflects their deep regard for nature alongside their commitment to providing a 5-star experience for guests. The roomy casas are beautifully appointed and each is private from the other. The amenities for guests such as the kayaking, picnic tables, seating, dancing and the Pickleball court on the manicured grounds, as well as the beautiful pool and hot tub made our stay there a vacation to repeat over and over. Annie was easily available by text, and went beyond the call to make us feel like special guests. Even though there is understandably no cooking allowed in the casas, with a little fore-planning, we were able to make every one of our meals on the patio grill or picnic grounds and thus achieved the total ‘get-away’ experience we desired. We loved the sunrises and the sunsets, as well as the refreshing breezes with morning coffee and afternoon hammock naps. We will be back!
